Recruitment & Staff Retention
  • Attract and retain talent required to execute the company’s strategy, through competitive compensation and attractive incentives.
  • Perform ongoing defined and structured training
  • Perform appraisals in a timely and fair manner, ensure that performance gaps and challenges are addressed with required coaching and recommend relevant training as necessary
Assets Under Management (AUM) Generation and Increase – Client Acquisition, Maintenance & Retention
  • Provide input and adjust the definition of target markets and value propositions for the client segments, including products/services offered
  • Collaborate with VP-Sales & Marketing to define and set realistic and achievable sales targets (Collectively and per Investment Advisor).
  • Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the given sales targets
  • Map potential and targeted clients, generate leads and assist in generating new opportunities for the company
  • Set defined metrics and track on a regular basis to determine results (performance, achievements and gaps) provides timely feedback to IAs on same, ensure that each IA’s reporting is submitted to evaluate performance
  • Ensure that IA's are aware of and follow required policies, procedures and all Due Diligence, Regulatory  and Compliance guidelines in the Client Acquisition and Retention process
  • Provide monthly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity to Management
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results in line with Net Sales targets.
  • Develop and control the unit’s annual budget

Client Relationship
  • Client Relationship Management- Maintaining and improving relationships with clients-ensuring that client concerns are addressed and resolved
  • Build a strong and long-term relationship with clients
  • Monitor and record IA’s annual portfolio allocation sessions with clients
  • Ensure service quality and its uniformity at the different points of interactions with clients

Client Education & Brand Recognition
  • Keep IAs abreast of competitor and market information and oversee dissemination to clients
  • Direct client education seminars/presentations.
  • Oversee IA expertise via Thought Leadership activities - e.g. writing articles for website etc.
  • Co-ordinate sales events and promotions as required.
  • Develop various Sales strategies e.g. Social Media, referral campaigns etc
Perform any other job - related duties as assigned by the Vice President – Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications/ Experience:
  • A First Degree from a recognized university in Business or Management
  • Sound Portfolio/ Sales Management knowledge
