Description


We are recruiting Restaurant Management for our locations in West, Port of Spain and East Trinidad!

The Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of a specified Subway Outlet and ensures that daily schedules of activity and established quality standards are maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures 3 Second rule for customer service is observed by all employees
  • Receives and solves customer complaints
  • Listens to employees’ concerns and brings them to management for final consultation and approvals
  • Attends and actively participates in General Meetings
  • Executes throughput to ensure service times are met
  • Supervises unit operations and preparation of work schedules for each employee. Ensures that all scheduling needs are met and must be able to cover shifts as necessary to maintain store efficiency.
  •  Provides on-the-job training for new recruits.
  • Prepares accurate payroll figures, inventories and sales transmissions and submit to the relevant departments
  • Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labour, equipment and supplies for the outlet to ensure minimum loss from waste or theft.
  • Assists in the supervision of the preparation, sales and service of food.
  • Ensures that the unit remains in compliance with Subway standards and requirements.
  • Ensures that premises and equipment are safe and sanitary.
  • Prepares and balances daily cash deposits.
  • Maintains a high level of customer service, food safety and sanitation.
  • Monitor general cleanliness of the restaurant during operation hours
  • Assists managers in any other duties that are required or requested during the shift
  • Ensures employees comply with uniform standards
  • Works as a team player by assisting employees with greeting customers, taking orders, cashing, assembling orders, checking for completeness and packing orders as necessary or when shifts become unexpectedly busy, not losing your own job focus.
  • Keeps Managers promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance, takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action, which may be taken.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely, effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees and purveyors to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • At all times provides a favorable image of Subway to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor
  • Ensures a safe working environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team; ensures proper product handling procedures for food safety; maintains proper cash handling procedures and enforces policy; works with Regional Managers, Services and Facilities Managers on specific needs.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a minimum of 5 CXC O’levels
  • At least two years’ experience in the food industry at a Supervisory level
