Job Summary: Responsible for the development and performance of sales primarily to the Small to Medium Institutional Sectors. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop business plans and sales strategies that ensures attainment of sales targets in the Small to Medium Institutional Sectors.
  • Determine and assign sales targets to team members and lead the team to ensure targets are met.
  • Pursue opportunities directly and through the team by (1) identifying new customers and (2) generating sales within existing client databases.
  • Implement marketing, communications and public relations programs which enhance the Company’s corporate image and position within the marketplace.
  • Work with other sales managers on analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information to formulate sales strategies.
  • Manage the development and performance of members of staff. 
  • Understand and apply organizational policies and procedures and applicable regulations to ensure appropriate decision-making protocols are followed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification and Experience
  • 5 years’ experience at a senior level in Sales & Marketing to the Financial Sector.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management or equalvent qualifications from an accredited institution. 
  • Excellent computer application skills.
 
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong skills in negotiating and relationship building.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in teams as well as individually.
  • Be self-motivated, pro-active and highly responsible.
  • Highest ethical standards.
  • Ability to lead a selling team.

  • Availability to attend client meetings outside normal business hours.
