OVERVIEW
The Sales Planning and Marketing Officer supports the development and execution of marketing strategies and sales planning initiatives. This role ensures effective stock management, pricing analysis, and marketing campaign coordination to drive brand growth and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Logistics
• Manage the company’s website content and updates.
• Coordinate ordering of approved stock for multiple product lines.
• Communicate daily with suppliers on allocations, confirmations, pricing, and specifications.
• Analyze market price positioning and negotiate with manufacturers.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and KPI updates, including three-month forecasts.
• Ensure timely completion of exemption paperwork and broker payments.
Marketing & Brand Management
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and liaise with external agencies for execution.
• Plan advertising and promotional campaigns across multiple media channels.
• Oversee social media queries and maintain marketing collateral (brochures/spec sheets).
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
Other
• Weekly restocking of marketing materials.
• Any other related duties.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
• First Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• 2 years’ Supervisory/Management experience
• Experience in logistics would be an asset.
• Experience in the automobile industry will be an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the use of CDK software would be an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
