I.T. Team Lead
Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is on the lookout for a forward-thinking IT Team Lead.  If you are passionate about working with a leader in the industry, this could be the job for you!
 
What you will do:
Team Leadership & Coordination

• Provide guidance and task prioritization for the I.T. Coordinator and support staff.
• Assist the I.T. Manager in planning and executing I.T. projects.
• Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and incidents.

Infrastructure & Systems Support
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot:

• Hosted PBX systems
• Cisco switches and Ubiquiti WAN infrastructure
• Access points (Ubiquiti and other brands)
• Windows Server, Windows 10/11 environments
• IP surveillance systems and RFID access control
• Sharp networked copiers
• Assist with network performance monitoring and optimization.
• Apply software patches, firmware updates, and security configurations.

Application & Software Support
Provide support for:

• Sage Accounting
• CMMS and CRM platforms
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Support user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and permissions.

Asset & Peripheral Management

• Manage inventory of desktops, laptops, printers, and I.T. peripherals.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle (deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning).

Security & Compliance

• Enforce security policies and assist with audits and system hardening.
• Respond to security alerts and escalate issues as needed.

Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Project management experience
• MCSE and or CCNA certification.
• A+ or Network+ certification (optional if the above is provided)
• Fluent in Windows Server & Active directory.
• Working knowledge of Azure active directory.
• Working knowledge of Teams administration.
• SolarWinds / Atlassian or comparable helpdesk software experience.
• Technical experience with Sage 50 accounting – installation
• M365 administration experience.
• Knowledge of IP surveillance systems and access control.
• Valid driver’s license (will be required to visit our site locations).
