Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Job Overview:Pillai Tools is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily financial transactions, data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is critical to ensuring our accounting department runs efficiently and maintains compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts receivable/payable.
- Enter and update financial transactions in the accounting software in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all company financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
- Assist with inventory and fixed asset management, if applicable.
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payments and account queries.
- Prepare basic financial reports as requested by management.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar).
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
Job Requirements:
