Description
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting
- Assists with the monthly and quarterly investment accounting and reporting
- Responsible for the preparation of Broker Reconciliations
- Prepares data to support Investment Reporting
- Assists with mortgage processing as a back up mortgage processor
- Performs any other related duties and handles special projects as requested by management.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- A recognized accounting designation e.g. ACCA, CGA, CPA.
- At least three years post-qualification experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Literacy and proficiency in the use of various types of accounting and spreadsheet software.
- Must attain knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
- A high level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- The ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
