Manager, Policy and Planning (SEZA)

Job Summary
The Manager, Policy and Planning, reports to the CEO. This Manager is responsible for developing the ongoing policies of the SEZA in order to keep current with socioeconomic developments. The Manager, Policy and Planning, supervises the Information Technology Supervisor, the Corporate Planning Officer and the Economic and Research Development Officer.

Key Responsibilities
a. Develops, refines and implements Policies and Procedures
b. Advises on amendments to Regulations
c. Supervises the IT Supervisor as digital transformation is critical to the functions of this Department and the SEZA
d. Supervises the Corporate Planning Officer e. Supervises the Economic and Research Development Officer
f. Supervises the implementation of the SEZA's Strategic Plan.
g. Consults with government officials, private sector and board members on policy, programs and legislative/regulatory issues.

Qualifications and Experience
MBA or equivalent Degree. Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in Business Planning of which at least three (3) would have included supervising a diverse team in an emerging or ongoing business environment.
