Description

1. Prepare dialysis machines and systems in accordance with patient needs.
2. Oversee the dialysis treatment from start to finish, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
3. Monitor and adjust the settings on the dialysis machines as needed.
4. Assess patients for any complications during dialysis and act promptly to address issues.
5. Provide pre- and post-treatment care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
6.  Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, the dialysis process, and any related dietary and medication adjustments.
7. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to continuously evaluate and improve patient care.
8. Maintain patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment, medications, and any observed complications.
9. Stay updated with the latest best practices, policies, and procedures in hemodialysis.

1. BSc in Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. Previous experience in hemodialysis is preferred.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
7. Ability to manage stressful situations and make sound decisions in emergencies.
