Sales Manager
Position Summary:
Oversee the development of policies, procedures and objectives for selling the organization’s products and services. Oversee budgets, and sales objectives. Direct sales force and integrates the functions of the Consultants/Engineers into the Sales Process.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of the Sales Department and oversee the workflow of all related business processes including preparation of reports and other statistics to support and direct the activities of the Sales Department.
- Overseeing/developing the Commissions structure and work with Finance to provide timely payouts.
- Determine the department’s pricing strategy.
- Ensure the Consultants/Engineering Teams are part of the sales process and coordinate with all other relevant departments/resources to ensure cohesiveness in accomplishing sales objectives.
- Identify and Target resources on the greatest opportunities for growth by increased market reach and penetration; by gathering market and customer intelligence as it relates to sales with the objective of honing the sales strategy.
- Continually and continuously assess and manager performance – systems and human resource and make required changes.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Business Management and/or IT, or a related field.
- 5 years’ experience in the IT Industry with at least 2 years at Managerial/Supervisory Level.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of IT Programmes
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sales, Sales Training and in selling IT products.
- Experience in IT Sales would be an asset
