JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
 
The Accounts Analyst- Accounts Receivables (AR) must be responsible, disciplined, trustworthy and industrious. Possess a need for accuracy and must be a team player. The Accounts Receivable  Analyst is assigned to a specific portfolio as they possess an accounting knowledge. Must co-exist with mutual respect with the other members of the accounts department and liaise with the Service department at times with respect to understanding reasons of outstanding service billing. Diligently work on receivables in achieving payments promptly. Keeping proper and accurate record of all payables invoices. Ensure overhead utility billings are on time for payment. Ensure no monthly billing is missing or there is no discrepancy on billing. Must be able to work independently and show interest in broadening ones’ knowledge. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Logging all payments received in log book in order to trace payments received from the Accounting Supervisor.
• Inputting data payments received into Counter Point to the relevant customer accounts.
• Reconciling the accounts and trying to get payments in on a timely basis.
• Calling customers in a timely manner, especially when customers have overdue payments
• Assisting with the rectification of any customer issues.
• Printing monthly statements which reflects the supply and service items; and placing them into envelopes, affixing stamps and forwarding them to be mailed out.
• Preparing statements manually when requested by customers to show service, supply and hardware invoices.
• Maintaining the filing for all the invoices and miscellaneous correspondence pertaining to the receivables.

EDUCATION

• 5 O’Levels including Mathematics or Principles of Accounts and English
• AAT or CAT certification
• Must be Computer Literate with a sound knowledge of Counter Point programme
