SUMMARY
The Accounts Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily accounting operations to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial transactions. The role executes and reviews key reconciliations, resolves variances, and supports month-end and year-end close activities. This position provides guidance and supervision to accounts staff while maintaining strong internal controls and efficient processes. The Accounts Supervisor ensures the reliability of financial information to support quality reporting and effective management decision-making.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise daily accounting operations related to Financial Products, Payables and Cashing Function.
• Review postings from the systems, including disbursements, activations, terminations, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, revenue and expense accounts.
• Prepare Daily Bank Reconciliations
• Prepare Financial Statement schedules, SOFP, Customer and Supplier Reconciliation within the purview of the accounting department inclusive of resolving discrepancies.
• Support the month end close resulting in timely preparation Management Accounts
• Support Year End Close by assisting in the preparation of Financial Accounts.
• Assist with Internal and External Audits
• Review of the cash register daily.
• Provide coverage for Accounting Staff duties when needed.
• Providing general guidance to the Accounting Department
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS
• Level 2 ACCA or equivalent
• A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
