We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer, who will be responsible for designing projects using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Civil 3D, and SketchUp, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Check existing drawings.
• Assist engineers to resolve problems.
• Work with industrial and packaging engineers to develop, manufacture, and market a product.
• Analyze, design, and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goal with the required specifications.
• Provide detailed design drawings to support construction and infrastructure projects.
• Create detailed design documentation.
• Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.
• Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the help of software.
• Aid in the selection of materials for the products.
• Produce final design specifications.
• Aid in increasing and maintaining quality assurance processes.
• Review and interpret client specifications.
• Photo manipulation for presentation purposes.
• Other duties as assigned relating to the job role.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum 4-year degree in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Certifications: Autodesk Certified Professional or similar certifications can provide an edge.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in 2D/3D software as stated above.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a draughtsman or minimum two (2) years’ experience as a CAD Technician / Engineer.
• Detail-oriented
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 5:00 pm
