Our organization is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to effectively manage the  marketing team and meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the organization competitive and innovative.

Duties and responsibilities:

·   Devise strategies and techniques essential for achieving established  revenue targets.

·  Ensure marketing strategies/plans align with the organization's mission, strategic objectives and policies.

·   Initiate marketing strategies and develop action plans with the intention to increase maket share. 

·  Identify and develop niche markets by researching industry and related events, publications, announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

·   Craft competitive, creative and innovative sales/marketing plans via various marketing mediums and present same to upper management.

·     Analyse various analytics and develope market strategies.

·   Guide and motivate the sales team and ensure the desired revenue growth targets are achieved for each business stream.

·    Monitor customer preferences and advantageously use this information to give the organization the competitive edge.

·   Prepare and present annual marketing budgets.

 

·  Keep current by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks.

·       Represent the organization at various professional events.

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

·       A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar capacity.

·       A Degree in Sales & Marketing or a related discipline.

·       Excellent organizational skills.

·       Excellent reporting, management and communication skills.

·       Strong project management and business development skills.

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Strong public speaking skills.

·       Possession of a valid Driver’s Permit and valid passport.

·       Owns a reliable vehicle.

·       Versatile

·       Results oriented

·       Able to work in a high performance, quick moving and dynamic environment 

 

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

·       Prepare and effectively present oral and written report to top management.
