Job Description
Are you a customer-focused and service-oriented professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences? We are seeking a Client Services Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the client services function, assist with resolving client queries, and help ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services that strengthen client relationships and support business objectives.

 

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Client Services Assistant must meet and exceed the expectation and requirements of both internal & external clients, whilst maintaining sound company best practices and standards with an emphasis on client services.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review of client request/transaction documents prior to processing.

· Mutual Fund/Private Wealth/G trade/Repo/Loans Applications

· Subscriptions

· Redemptions

· Private Wealth Trades - NDS & DS

· Monthly ACH and Direct Debits

· ESP Internal & External

 

2. Coordinate routine client/agent requests/Queries and Complaints.

 

3. Document Management

· Filing

· Scanning

· Cut & Editing

 

4. Creation of client web application/G trade profile.

 

5. Audit related requests – Internal & external.

 

6. Distribution of Client Statements.

 

7. Reception Duties

· Receive visitors at the branch and liaises with relevant parties where necessary to ensure that they are met and attended to.

· Coordinate the booking of meeting rooms.

· Handle the distribution/ redirection of mail to the relevant party.

 

8. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Client Services Team Leader.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· 5 CXC/CSEC Passes including Mathematics and English Language.

· 2A’ Level/ CAPE passes

· At least two (2) years’ experience in an administrative environment.

· Knowledge of financial products.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

As a regulated entity with obligations under the Know Your Employee guidelines, a Certificate of Character is required.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
The Client Services Assistant must be highly confidential and trustworthy. He/she must be well organized and must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions accurately as well as use his/ her initiative where necessary. He/she must be able to provide reliable support to the Department and be a good team player. The person must be a team player with a high level of social, interactive and customer service skills
