Commercial Manager

As a market leader with rapid growth potential, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our Sales and Business Development functions.

This role is ideal for a purposeful professional who is passionate about driving revenue growth, identifying new opportunities, and leading high-performing teams.

  •         Manage inventory turnover of company’s key SKUs and implement strategies to move aged stock.
  •        Prepare reorders for stock and place orders with suppliers.
  •         Develop strategies to grow and develop your key supplier relationships.
  •        Analyse and prepare recommended market prices for products.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
  •        Work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Perform effectively under pressure and meet targets.
  • Show a strong history of achieving results.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and adapt to change.
  • Be proficient in MS Office and comfortable with modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue growth across all business lines.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Ensure target stock turns and proactively move aged stock.
  • Develop target pricing for range of products to be competitive yet protect margins.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and conduct feasibility assessments.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate across departments to support revenue growth.
  • Expand professional networks through active participation in industry associations.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and/or business development
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, or a related field
  • A postgraduate qualification is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven history of achieving sales and business growth targets.
