Develop cost estimates and monitor, analyse and report project and turnaround costs. Track expenditures against budgets, forecast costs, identify and analyse variances, and prepare reports to support decision-making and corrective action.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mathematics, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the energy sector, including at least three (3) years in cost engineering or cost control.
• Proficiency with cost management and reporting systems, including SAP and applicable estimating tools.
• Working knowledge of cost estimating, benchmarking and project management.
• Understanding of Construction, Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain processes; professional cost-estimating certification is an asset.
