The Customer Service Advisor is the first contact point for all customers. He/She must be knowledgeable in the services offered, capable of entering service jobs into the customer relationship management software, ensure the best customer experience and overall customer satisfaction by providing professional customer support.  The Customer Service Advisor is also responsible for cashing duties and placing courtesy calls to customers as it relates to alerts and reminders. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greets customers and makes certain their experience is pleasant and memorable. 
  • Accurately enters ALL data into the customer relationship management software - both job orders and general account information.
  • Communicates with customer via WhatsApp and phone calls for alerts, reminders and placing courtesy calls in support of growing the customer base.  Cold-calls customers when time is available. 
  • Prepares invoices.
  • Responsible for housekeeping of the retail store space.
  • Management of ALL retail store stock to avoid stock outs and variances. 
  • Receives, checks and verifies all payments received ensuring the amount on the invoice matches the payment received and issues accurate receipts. 
  • Takes incoming customer calls, accepts and places booking appointments.
  • Supports with follow-up customer calls to verify level of satisfaction with service. 
  • Assists with the updating of databases as/when required; ensures that all databases are current.
  • Maintains a filing system to ensure records are kept safe for easy retrieval.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Senior Management. 

Qualifications:

  • Five C.X.C. passes including Mathematics and English Language
  • Certificate or Diploma in Customer Service Skills/Customer Relationship Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar position
