POSITION SUMMARY
Actively seeks out and engages customer prospects and manages the relationships with his/her direct customers. The incumbent is responsible for the execution of the Company’s strategy at the customer level and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
RESPONSIBILITES
1. Manage sales functions of all appointed accounts to achieve and exceed assigned targets in cases, revenue and profits.
2. Implement Company’s sales strategies as directed by the Sales Management Team for the Channel.
3. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
4. Liaise frequently with merchandisers assigned to respective stores.
5. Visit supermarket’s back stores and warehouses to conduct stock checks and prepare sales order based on current inventories.
6. Ensure there are no low stock levels on outlets’ shelves.
7. Providing customer feedback and competitor activities to Management.
8. Submit price surveys and reports by the third week of each month.
9. Ensure the right mix of products are sold in stores based on category management recommendations.
10. Service all assigned accounts as per route schedule.
11. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
12. Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to Management.
13. Ensure that sales of the Company’s products are aligned to 6P’s strategy (product, pack, price, place, promotion & proposition).
14. Ensure all promotions and trade marketing activities are executed at the store level within the required timeframe as outlined in the promotion calendar.
15. Collect payments from assigned customers and ensure assigned customers’ accounts are within the pre-determined credit terms.
16. Identify opportunities for the Company to increase shelf space.
17. Execute all relevant responsibilities as outlined in the Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities Matrix (MT-GM-004) to ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
18. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
A minimum of 5 O’Level / CSEC passes including Mathematics and English Language (I & II)
Diploma or Certificate in Administration, Business Management or any other related discipline from a recognized institution would be an asset.
Valid Driver’s Permit.
Own / have immediate access to a reliable working vehicle
EXPERIENCE
At least five (5) years’ experience in a marketing/sales environment with at least two (2) in the FMCG industry.
Proven experience in sales and trade relationships.
Knowledge of pricing analysis and gross profit.
