JOB PURPOSE:
Under supervision of Electrical Supervisor, performs electrical duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Assembles electrical controls as per the company's wiring diagrams;
• Installs electrical controls for pump packages;
• Trouble shoots electrical problems in the field and Building Trades & Service Department;
• Wires and troubleshoots PLC’s, VFD’s and MCC’s;
• Installs any required electrical and mechanical components and apparatus on assigned jobs;
• Signs required forms with regard to electrical inspections in relation to a particular job;
• Assists in preparing material request and local purchase requisition for specified jobs assigned weekly by Coordinator Planning/Scheduling - and Electrical Supervisor;
• Completes Daily Service Reports;
• Ensures all works are carried out in accordance with current Company Procedures and Policies particularly, as they relate to the Company’s Quality Management System and EHS procedures;
• Performs related duties as assigned.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS:
• Compliance to the Organizations Management Systems i.e. STOW & ISO 9001:2015 in relation to their relevant standards
• Ensure promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
• Ensuring maintenance of the integrity of the Management Systems when changes are planned and implemented.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
• 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics, English and Physics
• School project or hobby indicating interest in electrical
• Any training or previous experience would be advantageous, such as John Donaldson Technical Institute, San Fernando Technical Institute, YTEP, M.C.I., Vocational, Trade School or Servol
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating within the Company’s Quality Management System and EHS procedures
• Or practical experience in similar capacity
