Summary
A confidential energy services client is building a candidate pool for upcoming contingent labour and manpower opportunities across Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and partially Suriname. Successful applicants may be considered for project-based, rotational, contract, temporary, or contingent assignments based on experience, availability, and client requirements.
The Equipment Readiness Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, test, and prepare equipment to ensure assets are ready for safe and reliable field operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, clean, assemble, test, and prepare tools and equipment.
• Diagnose basic equipment defects and complete minor repairs.
• Support preventive maintenance and readiness workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, defects, and repairs.
• Ensure equipment meets operational, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, logistics, and field teams.
Requirements
• Technical, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or maintenance experience.
• Ability to read checklists, procedures, manuals, and maintenance records.
• Experience working with oilfield, industrial, plant, pressure, hydraulic, or mechanical equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Relevant experience and certifications must be clearly stated on the CV or uploaded with the application where available.
Preferred
• Technical or vocational qualification and experience in equipment readiness, workshop, maintenance, calibration, or field service environments.
