JOB PURPOSE:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains strong internal controls.

 

SCOPE & MAGNITUDE:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

• Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Manage financial risks and implement internal controls.

• Support strategic planning and investment decisions.

• Supervise and mentor finance team members.

• Update and implement changes to accounting policies and procedures.

• Ensures that all duties are carried out in accordance with current Company Procedures and Policies, particularly as they relate to the Company’s Quality Management System and HSSE requirements.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
