A leading manufacturing company is looking for a proactive Health and Safety Officer to manage day-to-day HSE compliance and initiatives at a production facility. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Complete Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & Job Hazard Analysis (JHA): Identify and control workplace hazards, including dust, machinery, chemicals, hot works and fall risks, etc.

2. Manage PPE: Implement and enforce PPE use; ensure availability, training, and compliance.

3. Deliver HSE Training – Train employees on machine safety, LOTO, fire safety, chemical handling (SDS), dust protection, working at heights/confined spaces, and hot work.

4. Investigate Incidents: Respond to accidents and near misses; lead investigations and corrective actions.

5. Ensure Compliance & Preparedness – Maintain safety records, ensure regulatory compliance, lead emergency planning, drills, and monitor environmental factors like dust.


Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Occupational Safety & Health (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).

• Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent (NEBOSH, OSH Academy, UTT or similar).

• Strong understanding of risk assessment, inspections, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.

• Familiarity with industrial environments, machinery hazards, hot work, chemical handling, and confined space requirements.
