Position Summary

Survival Systems Limited is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Industrial Sales Representative to drive business growth within the industrial, oil & gas, manufacturing, engineering, and contractor sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and delivering solutions that meet clients' operational and safety requirements.

This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a field-based environment, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and has a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales within assigned industrial territories and market segments.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across the industrial, oil & gas, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and contractor sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize repeat business and customer retention.
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, quotations, and proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within established company guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately manage customer interactions using the company's CRM system (HubSpot or equivalent).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and exceptional customer service.
  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
  • Utilize social media platforms and digital networking to support business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' proven B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling into the industrial, technical, engineering, construction, manufacturing, safety, or oil & gas sectors is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in both new business development and account management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or a related discipline would be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or an equivalent customer relationship management system.
  • Strong digital literacy with the ability to leverage social media for networking and business development.
  • Valid Trinidad and Tobago Driver's Permit and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Trinidad to meet customers and prospects.
