Key Responsibilities:

• Creating New Items: Establish new products in the inventory system.

• Promotional Price Changes: Create, amend, and extend promotional pricing as needed.

• Inserting Barcodes: Apply barcodes to items for tracking and sales purposes.

• Item Amendments: Handle description changes and merge items as necessary.

• Edit Checking of Data Entry: Ensure accuracy of data entered into the system.

• Branch Support: Provide phone support to branches for inventory-related inquiries.

• Receiving Shipments: Log both foreign and local shipments into the system.

• Generate Purchase Orders: Create purchase requests for foreign shipments.

• Add Commodity Codes: Classify items properly using commodity codes.

• Charges Breakdown Sheet: Prepare breakdowns for freight and other charges associated with foreign purchases.

• Physically Receive Shipments: Verify and receive local shipments directly.

• Reversal of Credit Notes: Process reversals for incorrect quantities received in the system.

• Create Requests: Facilitate inter-store transfer requisitions.

• Assist Point Lisas: Support the Point Lisas Branch with shipper-related issues.

• Stationery: Ordering, Packing, Picking and Distribution (twice per month)

• Check off system updated retail cost to website

• Stock adjustments 

• Reversal of errors made in receiving on the system

• Must comply with all company rules and regulations and Occupational Safety & Health Rules.

• Filing of Inventory documents

• Any other duties that may be assigned by your Inventory Supervisor

• Assist with general inquiries

• Direct customers to the appropriate departments based on their needs.

• Provide basic product information and ensure a seamless transition to department.

• Monitor the store entrance and assist in managing customer flow.

• Support the customer service team with handling concerns, complaints and special requests

• Maintain a clean, organized and professional front-end appearance

• Assist with store promotions, special events and customer engagement initiatives

• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer experience

 

Requirements:

• Inventory and Warehouse Certificate or 5 CXC Passes (Mathematics and English compulsory).

• 1-year work experience in similar field 

• Must be computer literate
