The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of the following projects: 

Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC 
The primary objective is to ensure that the project is delivered on schedule, meets business requirements, and is successfully implemented within the allocated budget. 

 

Key Responsibilities 
The Project Manager will perform the following tasks: 

Project Planning and Strategy 

• Develop a comprehensive project plan for each of the three projects, outlining timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and potential risks. 

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with the organization’s goals. 

• Work closely with stakeholders to establish clear communication channels and ensure alignment to expectations and timelines. 

 

Team Management 

• Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams including internal staff, external vendors, and third-party consultants. 

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standards. 

• Coordinate tasks and manage resources to ensure efficient execution of the project plan. 

 

Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC Implementation  

• Oversee the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC ensuring the new system is cloud-hosted and optimized for performance. 

• Ensure data migration, testing, and implementation processes are carried out smoothly. 

• Monitor and report on the progress of the implementation, ensuring it is completed by End November 2026. 

• Manage change control procedures to minimize disruption to business operations. 

 

Risk and Issue Management 

• Proactively identify potential risks to the project timeline, scope, or budget and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. 

• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project implementation phase, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. 

 

Monitoring and Reporting  

• Regularly monitor project progress against established timelines and objectives. 

• Provide regular status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, issues, risks, and mitigation actions. 

• Ensure that all projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget. 

 

Post-Implementation Support 

• Coordinate post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, user training, and system optimization. 

• Ensure that all necessary documentation, including user manuals and training materials, is completed. 

Key Deliverables

The Project Manager will be expected to deliver: 

• Project Plan: A comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. 

• Project Progress Reports: Bi-weekly or monthly reports summarizing project status, risks, and next steps. 

• Successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC Implementation: Completion of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC implementation, hosted in the cloud, by End November 2026. 

• Post-Implementation Review: A final report detailing the project outcomes, lessons learned, and any remaining issues to be addressed.

 

Academic / Technical / Management: Experience & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable. 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably with experience in ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC. 

• Proven experience in managing cloud-based system implementations and integrations.


Other Personal or General Characteristics:

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. 

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented approach to challenges. 

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools). 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, and cloud-based systems.
