Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Term Finance in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
The Loan Officer plays a key role in delivering timely and accurate loan services to customers while upholding high standards of risk management and customer experience.
This includes supporting inbound call handling, processing loan applications, and guiding customers through the lending process from initial inquiry to disbursement.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct loan application intake via phone and digital channels
• Review loan documentation and perform basic verification checks in line with internal lending policies.
• Meet established targets for call handling and loan processing
• Adhere to lending policies, risk controls, and compliance requirements while protecting
customer confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills
• Prior experience in customer service, call center, or administrative roles is an advantage; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent job experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation and data entry
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, target-driven environment
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficient with computers and confident navigating various systems and applications
