Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician

Location: Trinidad Ropeworks Limited

Full-Time | Engineering/Maintenance Dept.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in our manufacturing facility. You will support the efficient operation of blown film extruders, packaging lines, rope machines, and related equipment, keeping production running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

ü  Preventive & corrective maintenance on all equipment

ü  Electrical diagnostics – PLCs, servo motors, VFDs

ü  Pneumatic & hydraulic repairs – valves, hoses, cylinders

ü  Support production with fast troubleshooting

ü  Assist with installations and upgrades

ü  Maintain records

ü  Follow OSH & LOTO safety standards

Qualifications:

ü  NTD or equivalent in EEET or MEEET

ü  NVQ Level 3 or relevant trade certification (CVQ is a plus)

ü  3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

ü  Experience in blown film industry would be an asset

ü  Skilled in PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), drives, and sensors

ü  Able to read & interpret technical diagrams & schematics

ü  Willing to work shift & emergency response
