Summary

A confidential energy services client is building a candidate pool for upcoming contingent labour and manpower opportunities across Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and partially Suriname. Successful applicants may be considered for project-based, rotational, contract, temporary, or contingent assignments based on experience, availability, and client requirements.

 

The Maintenance Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, tools, facilities, or plant assets to support safe and reliable operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or facility issues.

• Repair, replace, adjust, and test equipment components.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

• Support equipment readiness and operational reliability.

• Follow lockout, tagout, permit-to-work, PPE, and HSE procedures.

• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and field teams.

 

Requirements

• Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, instrumentation, or a related field.

• Previous maintenance experience in industrial, oilfield, plant, marine, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments.

• Ability to read manuals, procedures, drawings, or basic schematics.

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• Willingness to work shifts, call-outs, or field assignments.

• Relevant experience and certifications must be clearly stated on the CV or uploaded with the application where available.

 

Preferred

• Experience with pumps, compressors, valves, hydraulic systems, generators, pressure equipment, oilfield tools, or CMMS.
