Allied Hotels Limited trading as Radisson Hotel, Trinidad is seeking to recruit a Night Auditor for Front Desk. This position requires an individual who is capable of working overnight hours, must be able to work on weekends, and public holidays, also working with the general public and performing various administrative tasks. The hotel’s night auditor is responsible for performing basic front desk duties, checking and correcting the hotel’s guests’ ledger, audit balances and report on all food and beverage cash and credit operations to include but not limited to cheques, over/ short figures, deposits, house charges, to mention a few, and reset all terminals to ensure accurate, timely information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
• Set up accounts for each guest checking in according to their preferences, for example, (room type, payment method etc.)
• Maintains the hotel’s inventory of available rooms.
• Maintains guest history files on all guests.
• Must pay attention to detail in order to ensure security of guest room access.
• Process end-of-day activities, including posting charges to guest accounts, running reports, and preparing for the next day's arrivals.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address any guest requests or issues during the night.
• Accommodate room changes expediently. Resolve any discrepancy on room status with Housekeeping.
• To communicate pertinent guest information to the designated departments/ personnel (For example, special requests and amenity delivery).
• Keeps track of the history of the financial transactions that have taken place during both day and night hours.
• Understand and execute all accounting standards ensuring accurate settlement of folios, routing of charges and adjustments.
• Checks various systems for errors.
• Generate, print and distribute daily and weekly reports.
• Performs cash accounting duties such as preparing bank deposits, counting cash and ensuring that cash drawers are balanced.
• Answering calls and queries related to potential bookings.
• Assists guests with various needs such as providing towels, room service and more.
• Document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify the designated department/ personnel for resolving the issue. You are required to follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• The applicant is expected to have complete knowledge of all hotel features/ services, hours of operation, room types, room rates, special packages and promotions etc.

• Must be able to maintain and present a professional appearance. A professional attitude in this position is required at all times.

• Should be able to demonstrate good time management skills.
• Strong eye for details
• Should have good working knowledge of computers and simple databases for the purpose of data entry and making reservations. Knowledge of Opera would be an asset.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Fluent in Spanish would be an asset.
Education and Experience
A Diploma/ Associate Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Management or any
other related field.
Must have 5 CXC passes, Mathematics and English is compulsory.
Should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Night Auditor or Guest Service Agent.
