Job Description
Position Title: Officer - Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
Reporting to: Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer
Position’s Purpose: Responsible for coordinating and implementing Sales, Marketing and Customer Service functions throughout the company.
He/She is also accountable for carrying out the objectives of the Company and report to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
REQUIREMENTS
· Valid Drivers permit and a personal vehicle
· Computer proficient, specifically in Excel and Word
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Knowledge on Digital Marketing and Social Media Management
· Knowledge of Audio-Visual Equipment and IT Equipment will be an asset
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop a detailed understanding of our products and services under each subsidiary and update job knowledge with a consultative sales approach
· Produce strategic action plans, budgets and proper reports to exemplify all that has been achieved
· Analyze trends in the market, establish pricing strategies, monitor costs, evaluate competition and assess market supply and demand
· Identify marketing opportunities and achieve marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising and promotional programs
· Achieve sales targets and project sales and profits volume for existing/new products and services
· Coordinate new product development and improve product marketability through research
· Conduct scheduled ‘on the road’ appointments, webinars, seminars and email campaigns with potential clients for the purpose of marketing products, services and the business itself
· Work with the technical team to conduct demos and presentations involving products and services
· Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; determine system improvements and implement change
· Assist with any other tasks assigned or required by the CEO or management
QUALIFICATIONS
· At least 2 years’ experience in the above-mentioned or a similar role
· Minimum of 3 CXC O’ Level passes, including Mathematics and English
· Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing
