JOB PURPOSE
The Project Manager leads the successful completion of various company projects.
The required scope combines technical expertise with project management skills, ensuring the smooth operation and continued functionality of facilities and equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Developing and Managing Budgets for Store Renovations and new build Projects
• Supporting the development of investment proposals for the approval of Capital and other Expenditures related to projects.
• Managing Floor Plans and Architectural Drawings in AutoCAD for the purpose of procurement, outfitting and tendering.
• Preparation and Review of Tender Documents, Formulation of Scope of Works/ Specifications and Work Programs.
• Develop and manage project plans for capital improvement/new build projects.
• Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Manage project risks and identify mitigation strategies including but not limited to HSSE.
• Track project progress and report to stakeholders.
• Negotiation of Pricing with Contractors/Vendors for timely Procurement, Delivery and Installation of all Fittings, Fixtures and Equipment.
• Chairing meetings and liaising with Developers, Landlords, Contractors, Vendors, Clients and other Massy Team Stakeholders as necessary.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in project management software and maintenance management systems
• Proficient Skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good Writing, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
• In Depth Knowledge of the Principles of Project Management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• A Master of Science (MSc.) in Project Management would be an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
