02/18/2026ABC Home Center is seeking a Retail Store Design & Development Specialist to support the planning, design, and rollout of customer-focused retail environments across our stores.
This role is ideal for a design professional with 2–5 years’ experience who is passionate about retail spaces and ready to grow into a leadership role within Store Development.
Key Responsibilities

Develop store and showroom layouts that align with brand and merchandising standards

Prepare technical drawings and 2D/3D design presentations
-
Support store buildouts, renovations, and display installations
-
Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and contractors
-
Conduct site visits to ensure execution aligns with approved designs
Requirements
-
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field
-
2–5 years’ experience in retail, commercial, or showroom design
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD (or Revit) and SketchUp (or similar)

Strong layout planning and visualization skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
-
Rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, or similar)
-
Adobe Creative Suite
-
Experience supporting multi-location retail projects
