Job Description  
Being part of the Team you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service each time they visit our store. You will assist in maximising store profitability by exceeding your sales targets and utilising the in-store devices, while contributing to a successful store team.  

Main Responsibilities Customer Service  

• Greet all customers in a warm, genuine and friendly manner.  

• Ensure that customers receive the best possible service every time that they enter the store.  

• Understand the process of the Customer Service measuring programme. 

Sales  

• Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.  

• Utilise the in-store devices, offering the customer the whole product range. 

• Provide alternatives and add on sales at every opportunity.

 

Visual Merchandising  

• Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor. 

• Keep stock clean and presentable at all times. 

• Replenish stock levels when needed, making sure the full size range is on the shop floor where possible.  

• Ensure that product is priced correctly 

Sales Assistant Skills and Qualifications: 

 Written and verbal communication skills 

 Computer data entry skills

 Computer literacy 

 Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines

 Work well with others and be a team player 

 Ability to manage schedules and inventory 

 Knowledge of Point of Sale systems would be an asset 

 Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 lbs 

 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

 Minimum 4 CXC Passes 

 Police Certificate of Character

Cashier Job Description  

We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills. The cashier will scan the customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers products, promotions, or item location. You will also respond to complaints, process refunds or exchanges of items, and maintain a clean workspace. To succeed as a cashier, you should have a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy. You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service. 

Cashier Responsibilities: 

 Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations. 

 Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronics. 

 Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales. 

 Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer. 

 Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints. 

 Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport. 

 Following all store procedures. 

 Maintaining a clean workspace.
