SALES PLANNING & MARKETING OFFICER

BARATARIA BRANCH

 OVERVIEW

The Sales Planning and Marketing Officer will provide general support to the Sales Planning and Marketing team with the tactical execution of marketing plans, strategies and projects. The Officer is also responsible for planning, pricing, coordinating, booking and control of the stock ordering and logistics/shipping processes.

MAIN TASKS

  • Managing the TAI/TTC website for Toyota Trinidad and Tobago Limited.
  • Ordering approved Toyota, Hino and Forklift stock.
  • Communicating daily regarding orders; Allocations, Confirmations, CIF Price List, Vehicle Specification Changes/New Vehicles.
  • Analyzing price positioning of models in the market by conducting CEP (spec comparison) and price negotiation with manufacturers through TAI/TTC.
  • Completing month end Sales Reports.
  • Updating of KPI report and Three (3) month’s forecast monthly to submit to the Finance Department for Toyota, Hino, Forklift and Used Cars.
  • Ensuring all exemption paperwork is completed correctly and cheques are sent to the broker immediately upon receipt.
  • Liaising with suppliers for artwork/ marketing needs.
  • Creating marketing campaigns and working with TTTL’s external PR agency for execution.
  • Weekly restocking of brochure and specification sheets.
  • Ensuring TTTL adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Daily follow ups on social media queries generated from the advertising agency.
  • Planning advertising and promotional campaigns from products or services on a variety of media.
  • Requesting vehicles out of Bond based on bookings and making recommendations for stock.
  • Any other related duties.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

·       First Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field.

·       3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

·       2 years’ Supervisory/Management experience

·       Experience in logistics would be an asset.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Experience in the use of CDK software would be an asset.

·       Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
