Job Summary
The Security Supervisor supports Management by ensuring effective communication with employees fostering adherence to Company policies, procedures and location Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The incumbent serves as the Officer-in-Charge during assigned shifts and reports directly to the Account Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assume full operational command during assigned shifts.
  • Conduct structured shift handovers.
  • Review and verify all operational registers (Station Diary, Incident Register, Telephone Message Book, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit end-of-shift and other required reports within designated timelines.
  • Conduct daily parade and dispatch officers for duty.
  • Ensure proper relief of officers and accurate recording in relevant logs.
  • Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols of assigned locations.
  • Inspect each officer a minimum of twice per shift to ensure compliance with uniform standards, performance expectations, and location SOPs.
  • Visit assigned posts to verify compliance with Company regulations and client requirements.
  • Conduct daily client interface engagements.
  • Take prompt and appropriate action in response to incidents requiring security intervention.
  • Report all property damage and security breaches immediately.
  • Execute instructions received from Client Security Supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, absenteeism, and leave.
  • Verify and submit duty sheets within required timeframes.
  • Log and communicate all new equipment, materials, orders, and directives introduced during the shift.
  • Conduct daily facility and vehicle inspections using designated forms.
  • Ensure drivers complete required vehicle safety checks.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of equipment under your charge and record verification in the Station Diary.
  • Escalate maintenance, replacement, and compliance issues where necessary.
  • Investigate incidents and compile disciplinary documentation promptly.
  • Report disciplinary breaches and recommend officers for commendations where appropriate.
  • Ensure officer grievances are acknowledged and triaged within 36 hours.
  • Orient and train officers assigned to the location.
  • Conduct monthly toolbox sessions and submit required documentation within established deadlines.
