Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is seeking to hire a Senior Laboratory Analyst to join our team.

Job Purpose:

To manage, coordinate and provide quality testing in the Inorganics Laboratory (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity).

                                        
Requirements:

Ø  University degree in Chemistry, Biology or the field of Natural Sciences or equivalent.

Ø  At least five (5) years laboratory experience.

Ø  Strong attention to detail.

Ø  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ø  Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task.

Ø  Ability to work independently.

Ø  Excellent oral and written skills.

Ø  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Ø  Any other relevant combination of education, experience and training would be considered in related field.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Responsible for performing all assigned analytical tests under the Inorganics Lab, glassware, reagent and inventory management

·       Directly responsible for managing and coordinating daily testing schedules in order to meet quality and timeline objectives

·       Responsible for the proper use, care, troubleshooting and maintenance of all equipment housed in Inorganics (Wet Chemistry, Microbiology and Toxicity Labs) and providing supervision to junior staff
