JOB SUMMARY 

The SME Field Sales Agent will be responsible for promoting AMPLIA Communications’ suite of business  services daily via door-to-door activities. Additionally, this position focuses on attaining Small Business  clients and other business opportunities for the growth of revenue and profitability for the organization. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Delight customers daily in keeping with the Customer Service Philosophy. 

• Accurately record prospect information and maintain listing.  

• Accurately record/receive customer orders and application forms.  

• Achieve sales objectives while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.  

• Provide relevant responses to customers’ concerns, service requests, products and service enquires based on facts related to the Company's products or services.  

• Actively bring brand awareness to businesses through sales walks and events as required to generate new business.  

• Responsible for executing sales strategies to receive new customer business through registration and sign-ups via face-to-face interactions via door-to-door walks and sales events. 

• Create detailed business plans to reach predetermined monthly/ quarterly and annual goals. 

• Build partnerships/relationships with clients and capitalize on opportunities via networking. 

• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services to singular or large-scale audiences including executive stakeholders and decision makers. 

• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data inclusive of gathering feedback from customers or prospects to share with internal teams. 

• Develop and maintain an up-to-date customer and competitor business intelligence portfolio. 

• Offers support at events and other locations as necessary to increase brand awareness and generate new business.  

• Collaborate with other departments (internally and externally) to meet sales objectives.  

• Assist with the preparation of bids as needed. 

• Perform other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager or any other delegated authority based on operational needs. 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum of five (5) CSEC passes including Mathematics and English A. 

• At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role. 

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly MS Word. 

• Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field will be an asset. 

• Good understanding of Internet/IPTV and Fiber Optic technology will be an asset. 

• Strong performance, team, and target orientation. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays. 

• Ability to stand and walk for long hours to facilitate customer engagement and sales achievement at various off-site locations. 

• Valid Trinidad and Tobago Driver’s License and vehicle in good working condition would be an asset.
