Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Telemarketer / Telephone Sales Representative to contact leads generated from online marketing campaigns and convert them into eye exam bookings and eyewear sales opportunities.

The successful candidate will also follow up with non-dispensed patients and recall patients, making this a key role in our sales and customer reactivation process.

This is not a basic call-taking role. We require someone with real telephone sales experience, proper phone etiquette, strong communication skills, and the ability to ask probing questions, handle objections, explain promotions, and persuade customers to take action.

Main Responsibilities

• Call online leads and convert them into eye exam appointments.

• Answer questions about promotions, pricing, eye exams, frames and lenses.

• Follow up with interested customers who have not yet booked.

• Contact non-dispensed patients and encourage them to return.

• Contact recall patients who are due for eye exams.

• Maintain accurate call notes and update tracking sheets or company systems.

• Meet daily and weekly call and conversion targets.

• Represent the company professionally on every call.

Requirements

• Previous telemarketing, telephone sales, call centre sales, appointment setting or lead conversion experience.

• Strong persuasion and communication skills.

• Excellent telephone etiquette.

• Ability to ask probing questions and handle objections.

• Target-driven and results-oriented.

• Organized, reliable and consistent with follow-up.

• Experience in optical, healthcare, retail, insurance, banking or telecommunications would be an asset.

• Minimum of 5 CXC/CSEC passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
