Job Summary

The Trade Marketing Officer (Group) will provide coordination, analytical and project-delivery support across the Group Trade Marketing portfolio. The role will work closely with the Head of Trade Marketing and market teams to coordinate trade execution, data and technology initiatives, procurement and savings programmes, growth-market projects and innovation initiatives.

The position will be responsible for tracking projects, analysing data, preparing reports, coordinating stakeholders, supporting supplier and procurement activities, and ensuring agreed actions are delivered within established timelines. The role will help strengthen execution across markets while enabling the Head of Trade Marketing to focus on strategic priorities, commercial leadership and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor multiple Group Trade Marketing projects and initiatives across markets.
  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, action logs, budgets, risks and dependencies.
  • Support Trade Execution initiatives, including merchandising, visibility and Look of Success programmes.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of BI, digital and AI tools, including Propel BI, Sales Eye and Pensa AI.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and management information for decision-making.
  • Analyse sales, trade and market data and provide actionable insights.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, including RFQs, supplier comparisons, purchase orders and savings tracking.
  • Support growth-market initiatives across Trinidad, Guyana, Suriname and other relevant markets.
  • Support shopper marketing, HoReCa and other innovation initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups and action items across Group and market teams.
  • Liaise with Sales, Procurement, Finance, IT/Data, Trade Marketing teams and external vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively highlight risks, delays and areas requiring management intervention.
  • Consolidate market updates and ensure timely communication across stakeholders.
  • Support the development of business cases, presentations and recommendations as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Commerce or a related field.
  • 2–4 years' relevant experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Commercial Operations or a related FMCG environment.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, initiatives or workstreams.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership and meet deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
