The successful candidate must be responsive, resourceful, and accountable, with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content that captures attention, communicates effectively, and strengthens brand identity. This role requires someone who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute fresh creative ideas while maintaining high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, and produce high-quality video content for campaigns, events, social media, and other organisational needs.
  • Apply strong visual storytelling techniques to communicate messages, capture experiences, and enhance brand positioning.
  • Generate creative concepts, storylines, filming approaches, and visual treatments that align with project objectives.
  • Edit and deliver polished video content within established timelines and quality standards.
  • Adapt quickly to changing schedules, production requirements and last-minute requests.
  • Work demanding and flexible hours when required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain professional standards and overall production quality.
  • Organise and maintain video files, project assets, backups, and completed deliverables.
  • Respond promptly to instructions, feedback, revisions, and project updates.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Formal training, certification, or demonstrable professional experience in videography, film production, multimedia production, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work and technical competence.
  • Experience creating content for digital platforms, social media, commercial campaigns, events, or brand communications.
  • Proficiency in professional video editing software and social media editing tools, with the ability to produce engaging, platform-optimised content.
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to develop fresh ideas and execute them effectively.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A high level of professionalism, initiative, reliability, and personal accountability.
  • Willingness to work flexible and demanding hours as operational requirements dictate.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by the ability to:

  • Consistently deliver high-quality video content that meets the required creative and technical standards.
  • Meet agreed deadlines and respond effectively to urgent production requests.
  • Demonstrate creativity, initiative, and continuous improvement in visual storytelling.
  • Execute the organisation's visual branding and maintain consistency across deliverables.
  • Communicate reliably and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ownership, dependability, and professionalism across all assigned projects.
