We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate preparation and distribution of chemicals and supplies in accordance with company standards. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing space and workflow, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring staff are effectively assigned and tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
· Prepare chemicals in accordance with Company Standards.
· Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through the use of warehouse management and inventory software.
· Routinely coordinate with the internal Operations Manager to fulfill the distribution of supplies to branches of the company
· Coordinate and maintain relationships with both local and international suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchases and timely order fulfillment.
· Submit weekly (or as requested) reports on fulfilled external orders and internal deliveries for cost accounting and auditing purposes.
· Assist in developing and implementing warehouse operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and maintain maximum uptime and reliability.
· Evaluate process flow periodically and recommend improvements to boost productivity and safety.
· Ensure safe and optimized storage of supplies/equipment by managing the physical space within the warehouse.
· Maintain hazard-free housekeeping practices, including the external perimeter of the warehouse.
· Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff with a focus on health and safety, workflow efficiency, and quality assurance.
· Conduct proactive maintenance on delivery vehicles and ensure their operational readiness.
· Maintain compliance with health, safety, and welfare regulations within the workplace.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Professional Diploma in Management or a Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
· Minimum of three (3) years in management or supervisory position, preferably in warehouse operations.
· Experience with warehouse management and inventory control systems/software.
· Strong understanding of warehouses and inventory best practices and industry standards.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Technically inclined with a basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, tools, and related equipment.
· Strong problem-solving, analytical, and administrative skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proactive with a strategic and process-oriented mindset.
Other Requirements:
· Physically fit and able to lift, bend, carry items, and stand or walk for extended periods as required in a warehouse environment.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff, resolve conflicts, and manage team performance.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Intermediate proficiency with inventory management and purchasing software.
· Ability to speak and understand Spanish will be considered an asset.
· Ability to drive manual gear-shift vehicles; possession of a Class 4 Driving Permit will be an asset
