Founded on December 29, 1966, by Mr. Joseph Pires Sr. and Mrs. Angelica Pires, the company began as a small family business in their home in Upper St. Ann’s, Trinidad. Within months, Caribbean Chemicals opened its first retail outlet at 57 Abercromby Street, Port of Spain. As the business grew, it expanded to several locations—including Charlotte Street, Nelson Street, El Socorro Main Road, and Cyrus Road—before establishing its headquarters at 24 Garden Road, Aranguez, which remains its flagship office today.
