Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing direct support to the Retail and Commercial Sales team and to ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements are maintained, contributing to the effective and profitable operation of Massy Finance GFC Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log all incoming loan and fixed deposit requests;
- Verify all Know Your Customer (KYC) documents with 100% accuracy within the agreed upon timeframe;
- Contact employers of the applicants to validate employment information;
- Contact all applicant references for verification of information;
- Risk Rating of all Customers prior to Onboarding;
- Efficient updating of Highgate Lending Platform;
- Prepare all Security documents and Promissory Notes, including other supporting documentation for the Retail and Commercial teams to be executed by the customer;
- Prepare all closing documentation for the retail and commercial teams for validation and submission for disbursement;
- Complete documentation required for the accurate disbursement of Funds to Clients;
- Efficient updating of Highgate Lending Platform;
- Ensure that all closing documents are verified and confirmed with the information provided;
- Adhere to all Regulatory Compliance Guidelines, AML/CFT and Massy Finance GFC’s policies and procedures for all products and services and customer transactions by:
- Applying the Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
- Ensuring Massy Finance GFC and customer information is kept secure and confidential at all times
- Prepare reports on application tracking and outstanding information daily
- Any other duties assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 CXC passes inclusive of Mathematics and English
- Diploma in Business Administration would be an asset
- At least one (1) year experience in a customer service role
- At least one (1) year in a similar role within a financial institution
- Proficient in use of computer applications in particular Microsoft suite of products.

- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced financial environment
- Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and time management skills • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid team player and collaborator with a commitment to reliability and dependability
- Familiarity and technical knowledge with financial products, banking services, and loan processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
