Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Admin & FInance, the Accounts Clerk will be responsible for supporting the Company's accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely billing and collections, and providing administrative support to the Finance Department.

 

Key Responsibilities

● Process customer invoices and billing cycles.

● Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

● Follow up on outstanding customer payments and collections.

● Apply customer payments and prepare customer statements.

● Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

● Prepare cheque request vouchers and process supplier payments.

● Allocate expenses and prepare income reports.

● Process vehicle rental quotations and vehicle sales documentation.

● Maintain filing systems and financial documentation.

● Assist with general finance administration and departmental reporting.

● Provide support for Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) administrative activities.

● Provide reception relief when required.

● Carry out other duties as assigned by the Accountant.

 

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

● Completion of, or current enrolment in, ACCA Level 2 or CAT Level 3 (or equivalent accounting qualification).

 

Experience

● Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an accounting or finance position.

● Experience in the private sector will be an asset.
