Job Summary:

The Accounts Clerk will provide accounting and administrative support across the group’s associated companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reconciliations, preparing supporting documentation for reporting, and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record daily accounting transactions including invoices, receipts, and payments.

  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities for associated companies.

  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and intercompany balances.

  • Maintain up-to-date ledgers, expense records, and supporting documentation.

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned to support the finance function.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Minimum ACCA Level 2 (Fundamentals) 

  • Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance-related role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Peachtree, or similar).

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
