Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
• Maintain and update financial records and databases
• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Help prepare documents for audits and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
• Perform general administrative duties related to finance
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Pursuing ACCA Level 2
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
