Job Summary:  
Under minimum supervision, provide support to the Group Marketing Manager in administering the marketing function of Rotoplastics (Trinidad) Limited and its subsidiary companies; work as a part of a small team and be involved in all aspects of the marketing strategy with a strong focus on design; be responsible for producing or coordinating marketing collateral, communication and ensuring brand consistency across the Company and ensure that the Company is projected as the Leader in the Industry and a Good Corporate Citizen.

 Core functions:
Includes but is not limited to the following:

    Ø  Work with the Advertising Agency and Graphic Artists to create artwork: brochures, adverts, flyers, press ads, press releases, business cards, and other marketing collateral such as point-of-sale materials and signage for the Pumps and Heaters categories.

Ø  Maintain a clear understanding of the market landscape and the brand’s positioning within the Pumps and Heaters categories.

Ø  Be responsible for costings of shipments and establishing market pricing in line with company objectives.

Ø  Track and monitor competitive market activity, pricing strategies, and emerging trends, and create programs to maintain competitiveness.

Ø  Track and monitor monthly and annual sales targets for the category and develop programs to ensure these targets are achieved.

Ø  Prepare and maintain accurate forecasts and inventory reports to avoid stock-outs and ensure adequate stock levels for promotions and planned programs.

Ø  Design and produce highly creative and impactful presentations for new business pitches, client presentations, and annual brand plans.

Ø  Create designs for e-marketing campaigns and coordinate the quarterly internal newsletter.

Ø  Collaborate closely with the Sales Team and other internal departments to understand their needs and provide marketing support.

Ø  Visit trade clients locally, regionally, and internationally as required to strengthen relationships, secure sales, and gather on-the-ground insights.

Ø  Prepare trade visit reports, market survey summaries, and competitive intelligence reports to guide strategic decisions.

Ø  Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting framework to track marketing initiatives, promotional effectiveness, and category performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Ø  Work closely with marketing personnel from subsidiary companies to ensure marketing plans are developed, executed, and reviewed, identifying key successes and areas for improvement.

Ø  Manage the company’s social media platforms together with the Agency, including content creation, campaign planning, communication management, and community engagement to drive awareness and category growth.

Ø  Develop, manage, and regularly update the Company’s websites to ensure relevant, engaging, and optimized content.

Ø  Conduct regular field visits to monitor product placement, assess visibility, and identify promotional opportunities across various channels.

Ø  Prepare monthly and quarterly brand performance reports covering sales, promotions, competitor activity, and ROI on marketing initiatives.

Ø  Work cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, and operations to ensure marketing programs align with inventory levels, shipment timings, and customer demand

 

Minimum Requirements

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or in another similar or related field with experience in Sales and Marketing.

Ø  At least five (5) years of experience in brand management or related role.

Ø  Must be proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook), email, internet, social media applications and Google Analytics

Ø  Certification in Customer Service

Ø  Must possess excellent  communication, interpersonal skills and analytical skills

Ø  Must be able to interact with staff at all levels and from various departments

Ø  Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

Ø  Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Ø  Police Certificate of Character (not more than 6 months old)
