Seeking a skilled and motivated technician to ensure proper functioning of all refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including cold storage units (larger walk-ins), trucks refrigeration, chillers, reefers and A/C units at all locations.

Responsibilities:

1) Perform preventive maintenance on cold storages and truck refrigeration units.

2) Service and repair A/C units.

3) Troubleshoot refrigeration and cooling system breakdowns.

4) Maintain accurate maintenance logs and temperature records.

5) Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and environmental regulations.

6) Any other related duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

· Certification in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Technology.

· At least 3 years’ experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration or cold chain maintenance (food industry preferred).

· Knowledge of ammonia/Freon systems, truck refrigeration and split A/C units.

· Certification in safe refrigerant handling (EPA/TT equivalent).

· Strong troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to read and write clearly.

· Comfortable working in cold conditions.

· Able to do heavy lifting.

· A forklift licence will be an asset
