The Fleet Maintenance and Management Officer ensures vehicles are available and operational to support daily business activities, promoting efficient, cost-effective, and safe fleet operations. The role is responsible for coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections while managing costs related to fuel and maintenance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the maintenance, servicing, and inspection of all fleet vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
2. Oversee and coordinate timely, high-quality vehicle repairs through internal or external service providers.
3. Ensure all vehicles comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation for licensing, inspections, and related records.
4. Manage fuel efficiency and operational costs through strategic planning and budget control.
5. Ensure all vehicles are road-ready and available when needed to support daily manufacturing operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Five (5) CXC passes inclusive of Maths and English.
2. Diploma or Associates or Technical School Degree in a related discipline will be an asset.
3. Experience: 3-5 years’ experience of fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
5. Valid Driver’s Permit. Class 4 license will be an asset.
